Wedding Photography Melbourne – Simon and Ann Marie Mirboo North

Wedding photography Mirboo North – Simon and Ann Marie were married at Ann Marie’s family farm in Mirboo North.  The weather was pretty wet but the wet weather option for their ceremony was sensational.  They decorated their shed and it really was magic they did such an awesome job.  At 5 degrees and having photos taken wow!

Wedding Photography melbourne – Andrew and Anna

Wedding photography melbourne – I photographed Andrew and Annas wedding at the lilydale huntclub in Yarra Glen recently and did they have some unusual conditions…..rain for 5 minutes, sunshine, rain made for some amazing views but that’s melbourne.  They both looked stunning!! I had a great time except for the wind coming off the arctic :)

Kate and Brendan – Wedding Yarra Ranges Estate

Kate and Brendan were married at Yarra Ranges Estate in Monbulk.  Kate arrived in a very cool car belonging to her dad which I have included photos of.  It did rain off and on but it never worried either of these to very go with the flow type of people.  It was a good day thanks for letting us be part of it.

Choosing Your Marriage Celebrant

Choosing Your Marriage Celebrant

Anyone will do? Not likely. Choosing the right marriage celebrant to marry you and your loved one is an important decision you won’t want to rush.

Research, ask around for referrals, interview and find one that will help you create a fantastic wedding day for everyone involved.

They don’t just take care of the formalities; they help set the tone of your entire ceremony, one that should reflect your unique personalities and special relationship.

Start by looking for someone who enjoys what they do. This is a sure sign they will make the process enjoyable for you and your husband-to-be and will be adaptable and flexible to your requirements.

You’re also looking for an experienced and knowledgeable wedding celebrant who is a good public speaker and enjoys engaging people with humour and interest to ensure everyone feels welcome and included on your special day.

If you have met a wedding celebrant who is quite adamant about how the ceremony should go, will not adapt to your ideas, is quite opinionated and will charge you for every little extra thing… Run! This person is a nightmare waiting to happen. Remember, they need to understand and appreciate what you want and will create and deliver your personal, special wedding ceremony.

Here’s a checklist of questions to go through as your assess your marriage celebrant’s suitability for the day.

    1. How is their speaking voice? Do they sound good and project well?
    2. Do they provide a PA system?
    3. Do they come across as both professional and approachable?
    4. What is your marriage celebrants’ dress code? Their favourite red mini skirt might clash a little… so find out what their standard dress is and make sure they’re co-ordinated with your wedding day.
    5. Is there celebrant service what you want and need? Do they fit within your budget?
    6. Ask to see their Fee Schedule or get a comprehensive quote (including GST) that covers everything you need.
    7. Are they creative and flexible in their approach? How will they cope with potential last minute change?
    8. Do they have recent testimonials, photos and previous clients you can call and talk to?
    9. My favourite celebrandt is Terry she’s both professional and lovely please give her a call you won’t be disapointed Terri Beirne: http://www.celebrant-lifeaspects.com.au

Wedding of Belinda and Wayne at Flagstaff Gardens in the city and cafe Italia

Belinda and Wayne were married at the flagstaff gardens in the city and had their reception at cafe Italia on lygon street.  If tradition is true and it’s goodluck for it to rain on your wedding day then these 2 are going to have all the luck in the world. I had a ball these guys were awesome.

Wedding Photography at Gum Gully Farm – Tracey and Layne

Wedding photography Melbourne

Tracey and Layne were married at gum gully farm in Silvan and what an awesome venue!! Spirits were still high even though it poured with rain and the deer tried to eat me and Traceys flowers.  There was nothing else to do but jump around the pews(?) in the mud brick ceremony hall.  They entertained everyone later with a funky dance and I may have had a little tear when the father and daughter dance was done, I’m such a sucker for a wedding.  Great night.

Ursel and Alan

Ursel and Alan were married in Boronia at the Tim Neville Arboretum where it poured with rain and the rotunda even flooded.  They were lucky enough to have their ceremony rain free which we were very very thankful for.  The reception was held at the Twisted vine in Silvan, really nice venue great photo opportunities.
