Hello!
I’m Karen… the photographer behind Kapture Photography. I have a passion for life and for capturing it beautifully. I’ve been blessed with
a gift to tell stories through capturing the emotion of a moment and the love that two people share. I love nothing more than when a bride
becomes a friend. (next to my husband and daughter, and 2 putty cats of course!) and the babies grow up to be beautiful people.
I LOVE…
-the smell of coffee
-flip flops (All year round)

-traveling and exploring new places
-anything outdoors (hiking, camping, dancing)
-my daughter
-my husband
-my cats
-ALL music
I Have…

)
I Will…
-run a half marathon one day
-travel to Europe to shoot a wedding (it might be yours!)
-travel back to Vegas
-disconnect for a week- no phones- no internet!
-take a holiday with my husband this year
-start a charity
-have coffee more frequently with friends
My Secret Obsessions…

-The First dance and Father/Daughter dance (I cry everytime)
-work… yes some say I work too much-good thing I love it!

-reading… business books preferably please- there’s always more to learn!
Would you like my life story? Well not really- it’s very abbreviated… read on!
I was born in Qld raised mainly in Melbourne, when I was 8 my best friend was my puppy, patch we spent hours together..
Fast Forward about 10 years and I packed my bags and headed overseas, 6 weeks later and I was home, missed my family to much.
After doing art classes for 13 years and many paintings later I decided the instant gratification of an image photographed was so much better and I could still be so creative.
I met my husband in 2002, moved to Rowville 3 years later and have been married for 5 years. We had our wonderdul daughter in April of 2011 at Knox private and she is just the cutest (well we think so).
